Senteo attended the Las Vegas Chamber luncheon to honor the Wounded Warrior Project

On Wednesday, August 22, 2012, Senteo’s President, Michael Ruckman and colleague Marie Tomao attended the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce for an inspirational and motivational power luncheon with the Wounded Warrior Project. The Wounded Warrior Project, Work division program helps change you and your business. The lunch featured a keynote speech from a wounded warrior, retired Army Sgt. 1st Class Norberto “Norbie” Lara who has successfully returned to civilian life and workforce. “He was carried from a battlefield near Baqubah, Iraq, after a rocket-propelled grenade, or RPG, exploded, blowing off his right arm while he rode in a patrol vehicle on June 19, 2004”, reporter Keith Rogers says.
As Senteo strives to become one of the Las Vegas community’s philanthropists and educational businesses, we were delighted to attend this event. It addressed the challenges the local community will face, as well as the United States; as more than 1,000,000 Veterans enter the civilian workforce over the next five years and how businesses can help.
Thank you, Wounded Warrior Project, for helping our Veterans get back into the workforce!
